A Serious Note for the End of Summer

As the long Labor Day weekend is upon us, marking the unofficial end of Summer (boooo), it's time for everyone to take a few minutes to save a life- your own! We have all been spending as much time out in the sun as possible, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who wasn't most the cautious under the rays. This summer actually offered up a lot of beautiful days to enjoy the great outdoors; let's hope memories are the only thing we took from them.

PLEASE- Take a few minutes to really look at these photos of different types of skin cancer, and make sure none of your "beauty marks" match up. If any of them do, get to a dermatologist STAT!
Learn the ABCD's of Skin Cancer!
Also, pay close attention to any moles that seem to be "evolving"- getting bigger, wider, etc.

These carcinomas are usually found on the most sun-exposed areas of the body (shoulders, neck, chest...)

If you notice similarities to any of these, please do yourself a favor, and CALL A DOCTOR!

It only takes a few minutes, so please check yourself over and encourage your friends and loved ones to do the same! If this post helps save the life of one person, it was well worth the time.
Remember... BETTER SAFE, THAN SORRY!
